The Christmas Party !!!

As Christmas creeps ever closer the Fenstanton Football Club annual party is coming round the corner. As always there is a fancy dress theme. This allows the most adventurous of our players and supporters to go to town with some imaginary get up !

 We are still deciding on a crazy fancy dress idea so if you have any ideas please write a message on the board or tell a player !!!

Fenstanton secure double win over Buckden

Fenstaton First Team secured their second win over neighbours Buckden, with a comprehensive 3-0 victory at Hall Green Lane. Mark Gallagher and Craig Flavell on target with a third added by a generous Buckden centre-half.

2008/2009 Season

Welcome to the 2008/2009 season at fenstantonfootballclub.com. Both teams start competitve action on the 6th September with the First team travelling to Newmarket White Lion, whilst the Reserves have a home tie with Estover Park.

2008/09 Pre-Season

The pre-season training campaign will start on Wednesday 4th June at 6.30pm at Hall Green Lane.

Full pre-season training will then start on Tuesday 24th June at 6.30pm and will be on every Tuesday and Thursday after this date.

New players always welcome. 

End of Season Presentation

This years end of season presentation will take place in The George Public House on Saturday 10th May 2008.

 Presentation will start at 2.30pm, then everyone can head into Cambridge for the night.

Happy New Year

The Fenstanton Football Club commitee would like to wish everyone connected with the club a very Happy New Year.

Christmas Party

Its that time of year again…this year the team will be celebrating Christmas by dressing up as film characters and heading into St. Ives. The Christmas night out will be after the game on the 22nd December.

Club Funds

As you are probably aware, the cancelled Car Boot Sale hurt the club financially. With this in mind it is essential that all fines and match fees are paid immediately. With running costs rising, the club will be in serious trouble if this does not happen.

Match fees are now £5 per game, but this includes the fee for training. You do not need to bring £2 for training, but please ensure you have £5 to bring to each game.

March Town Res 5 - 3 Fenstanton

One of the best second half performances you are likely to see restored pride to hte Fenstanton First Team who had a horror start to the game, finding themselves four nil down before the first half was over.

In terrible conditions, Fenstanton came out for the second half looking like a different team. It was not long before the battling performance saw Dan Attfield pull one back for the away side.

Two more from Craig Flavell made the scoreline look promising, sadly March put one more past Bobby to move the game just out of reach. A great performance to take into the next game away to Longstanton.
