2009/10 Pre Season Training

Pre-season training will start on Wednesday 1st July, 6.30pm at Hall Green Lane. Training will then be held at 6.30pm every Wednesday after this date. Please bring both running shoes and football boots to training.

Fenstanton F.C. AGM - Monday 29th June 2009

Please note that the Fenstanton Football Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 29th June 2009 at the pitch, Hall Green Lane. 7pm.

Fenstanton F.C. Car Boot Sale - Monday 25th May 2009

Fenstanton Football Club will be holding their traditional Bank Holiday Car Boot Sale, on the pitch at Hall Green Lane. Doors open at 9am, sellers are advised to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Fenstanton F.C. Players - Please ensure that you attend the car boot sale between 7am and 12noon, your help is vital to the success of this event.

Your club needs you!

Fenstanton F.C. are currently looking for someone to take over the role as Club Secretary at the end of this season.

You do not need to have any previous experience as you will be trained on how to manage all aspects of the job. Please register your interest by emailing fenstantonfootballclub@gmail.com.

Fenstanton 4 - 0 Waterbeach Reserves

After a string of postponed matches, Fenstanton’s elite were keen to get back out on the pitch and put to rest the demons of the Longstanton match. A depleted Fenstanton side took the lead mid way through the first half with a nice move down the right hand side culminating in an Alex King bundled finish. Chris Collett then made it two when the home defence failed to deal with a long ball from the back, Chris cooll slottting home from 12 yards.

Two goals in the second half meant took the sting out of the game. Dion Lee with a measured finish from 18 yards and Mark Gallagher, who slotted from a tight angle following a nice move down the left hand side.

 This win leaves Fenstanton in 5th place, 7 points behind 2nd, with two games in hand.

The Christmas Party !!!

As Christmas creeps ever closer the Fenstanton Football Club annual party is coming round the corner. As always there is a fancy dress theme. This allows the most adventurous of our players and supporters to go to town with some imaginary get up !

 We are still deciding on a crazy fancy dress idea so if you have any ideas please write a message on the board or tell a player !!!

Fenstanton secure double win over Buckden

Fenstaton First Team secured their second win over neighbours Buckden, with a comprehensive 3-0 victory at Hall Green Lane. Mark Gallagher and Craig Flavell on target with a third added by a generous Buckden centre-half.

2008/2009 Season

Welcome to the 2008/2009 season at fenstantonfootballclub.com. Both teams start competitve action on the 6th September with the First team travelling to Newmarket White Lion, whilst the Reserves have a home tie with Estover Park.

2008/09 Pre-Season

The pre-season training campaign will start on Wednesday 4th June at 6.30pm at Hall Green Lane.

Full pre-season training will then start on Tuesday 24th June at 6.30pm and will be on every Tuesday and Thursday after this date.

New players always welcome. 

End of Season Presentation

This years end of season presentation will take place in The George Public House on Saturday 10th May 2008.

 Presentation will start at 2.30pm, then everyone can head into Cambridge for the night.
